Lamb Burgers with Mint Garlic Sauce

Directions

Mint Garlic sauce

In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, mint sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the mint sauce to your preferred level of mintiness. You can add more for a stronger mint flavour if desired. Cover and refrigerate.

Lamb Burgers
1- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground paprika, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently mix the ingredients until well combined.

2- Divide the lamb mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.

3- Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat. Brush the patties with a little oil to prevent sticking. Cook the lamb patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired level of doneness.

Tip: While the lamb burgers are cooking, cut the brioche buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in a toaster until they are just golden.

Assemble the burgers
Spread a generous amount of the mint garlic sauce on the bottom half of the brioche bun, followed by a layer of thinly sliced cucumbers. Next place the cooked lamb patty, a bunch of watercress, some feta crumbles and top with the other half of the brioche bun.
